In addition to the Biochemical cycles being destroyed by deep sea mining we have Earthquake mining.

The machine below is around 21 metres wide and 28 metres long. It will stir up the Silica from the deep sea and the silica will turn the fish to stone.

Other machines designed to mine the ocean will be needed. However to save the cost of drill bits and the replacement of these and the lost time and other costs – would it be easier to turn the undersea mountains in to mound of dirt instead of mountains of hard rock?
